Operation Farmyard is an attempt by Auckland Branch Members to bring together the various main groups within the hobby. Held for its first year in early 2007, Farmyard brought together the MRS (Military Re-enactment Society) and the HRS (Historic Re-enactment Society) as well as the Military Vehicle Collectors Club. Activities for the vehicles include travelling over the various tarcks on the farm as well as to local areas of interest using some of the many back roads, and of course not forgetting a the play in the mud. Whilst the vehicles are playng the reenactors have various tactical exercises to complete. The photos shown here were taken by Kevin Frethey (the Bulletin Editor) and his son Daniel.
